Welcome to Glampio Plas Panton — soon-to-be your perfect escape in the heart of rural North Wales. We are a family on a mission to share the beauty of Llannefydd with the world.

Our journey began when Welsh-speaking fourth generation family farmer, Dyfan met townie English journalist, Kelly, at a sticky carpet nightclub in Rhyl (of all places). Fast forward six years and another baby later, we decided to combine our love for nature, adventure, and storytelling by setting about creating a unique glamping experience.

Together with our three children, Olivia, Harry and Macsen, we're hoping to build something truly special — a peaceful retreat where the rolling hills of North Wales meet the comforts of modern glamping — with a few farm animals in the mix.

Who we are

Lifelong proud Welsh farmer, Dyfan and award-winning journalist of almost 20 years, Kelly combine a passion for farming with a keen eye for detail and a love of good stories. With 70 cattle and 50 sheep, not to mention some chickens and three loyal Kelpie-Australian Heeler cattle dogs, Ted, Roa and Nel, life is hectic, but we love it.

So far, our family's journey has been filled with hard work, laughter, and plenty of outdoor adventures. Our three kids have been involved every step of the way, whether it's helping to plan the site, coming up with ideas, or simply enjoying the magical sunsets with us. Dyfan's mum, Eiryls who also works on the farm, is supporting our vision. This is truly a family endeavour, and we can't wait to share it with you.

What we will offer

Nestled in the stunning Welsh countryside, our glamping site will offer a serene and unique way to experience nature without sacrificing comfort. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway or a longer stay, we plan to offer fully equipped glamping pods, perfect for stargazing or telling stories by the fire.

Our site will be designed to give you an authentic experience of rural Wales, with plenty of opportunities to explore the local area, sample farm life, hike the nearby trails, or simply relax and unwind.

Why Llannefydd?

Llannefydd is a small rural village situated near the foothills of the Clwydian Range that deserves to have its beauty shared with visitors from near and far. Close to hill, Mynydd y Gaer, the area is known for its scenic beauty with views stretching towards Snowdonia and Mynydd Hiraethog.

The village has a modest population and is mainly characterised by farming and agriculture and is home to the traditional Welsh pub, The Hawk and Buckle. Llannefydd's landscape offers views of rolling hills, wooded areas, and is close to historical landmarks, including ancient churches and sites of interest.
